Quality Control

R&D Molders maintains a pro-active quality assurance system. Our system is a hybrid based upon MIL-I-45208A, MIL-Q-9858, and the ISO 9000 series specifications. We maintain an active database of inspection devices allowing for on-time calibration and accuracy verifications. When required we can provide SPC data on either part dimension parameters or process parameters. All customer-provided quality assurance criteria is incorporated into our database of inspection instructions that are issued with each production order. In the absence of any customer criteria, we create our own, including critical process parameters. All inspection data and results of inspections are available plant-wide through a local-area-network-accessible database. We have a MicroVu video inspection machine, CMM-coordinate measuring machine, Magna Mike wall thickness instrument, surface plates, micrometers, calipers, weight scales and height gages.
